I am a psychological scientist. I specialize in personality and social psychology. I graduated from Jagiellonian University (MA) and the University of Wroclaw (PhD), Poland. In years 2014-2015 I worked as a post-doc at the Institute of Psychology at University of Bern in Switzerland. I received habilitation in 2020 and currently work as an Associate Professor at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. I was a member of the Executive Board of European Association of Personality Psychology<\/strong> (EAPP, 2022-2024) and I currently serve as a member of Advisory Board of<\/strong> the EAPP<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research interests:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My main research interests are social, cognitive and affective correlates and consequences of narcissism (and other „dark” traits, e.g. Machiavellianism and subclinical psychopathy), but I am also interested in studies of interpersonal relationships, social perception, self-insight and its accuracy, 'quiet ego’, emotional intelligence, self-presentation, and in social and intercultural psychology. I endorse a dynamic perspective on personality and researching personality „in action” (person-situation interaction). Finally, I am interested in statistical methods for analyzing longitudinal, round-robin, multilevel, and network data.
